"The sky, sea and sand, the mountain and the bush ...and the freedom I have found on Nevis have given me a new focus and great creative challenge."
says the artist.
Frank Bongiorno emerged on the New York City art scene as a Pop artist in the 1960s, following his graduation from Pratt Institute. He later studied theater and stage design at Boston University with Peter Kass and with Frank Corsaro in New York.
Frank was the founder of the Ensemble Theater Company in New York City. His acting credits in films are 25+ and he has produced and directed a number of plays. We remember him recently from the Sopranos and the CBS drama Dellaventura. His most recent film role was in Dinner Rush.
Bongiorno has perfected techniques in many areas of the creative arts. His skills include that of a silk screen artist, graphic designer and advertising director, counting numerous Fortune 500 companies among the clients of his NYC design studio throughout the 70s and 80s.
Frank's creative work is constantly evolving, and over four decades, he has become a prolific, multi-faceted artist.
